The House on the Hill; My father has a house on a hill, Where it is so peaceful and wonderful and still, The grass at his house is smooth and green, And two beautiful tall redwood trees grace the scene, As I stand by his house and gaze far beyond, I can see shimmering waters where sailboats abound, There are gorgeous tall trees in the background, Beauty seems to be all around, Our beautiful American Flag close by, Waves in the breeze as it catches my eye, And seems to protect the house on the hill, Where it is so peaceful and wonderful and still. Margaret Vivian Haugen

This memorial website was created to remember my beloved mother, Margaret Haugen who was born in Seattle, Washington, in the United States on June 29, 1912 and passed away on October 10, 2008. Mother, you will live forever in the memories and hearts of all that came into your circle of love.  You were always such a sweet and caring and loving mother, and grandmother who's thoughts to the end were of your family.  It is with deep regret and sorrow that I put up this tribute to you, and I know that I will never be able to offer any tribute or thanks for all you gave to me in so many ways over almost sixty years.  David
